Hawaii Hiker Saved by Barking Hero.

A barking dog in Hawaii is being hailed as a hero after leading a 17-person search and rescue team to a missing 35-year-old hiker on the Lanipo trail in Kaimuki, Oahu. The hiker had been stranded 170 feet below the trail’s path for around three hours. The dog’s barking led the rescuers to the hiker’s location, and upon airlifting the dog out of the area, they discovered a bag full of the hiker’s personal belongings. After an extensive search, the hiker was located, provided basic life support treatment, and transported to a nearby hospital.

Bobi, the Portuguese mastiff recognized as the oldest dog ever by Guinness World Records, has recently had his title provisionally suspended. This comes amid an investigation into the validity of his age. Guinness World Records formal review will involve analyzing existing evidence, seeking new evidence, and consulting with experts and those linked to the original application. Dog Assists in Michigan Lake Rescue.

An elderly man in Michigan was saved from icy waters by his loyal dog, Ruby, who aided authorities in the operation. Michigan State Police responded to a 911 call reporting the man's fall through the ice at Arbutus Lake. Officer Kammeron Bennetts attempted a direct rescue but was hindered by ice conditions. Bennetts ingeniously utilized Ruby by attaching a rescue disc to her collar, guiding the man on how to use it for assistance. With Ruby's help, the man was successfully pulled to safety after approximately 16 minutes in the water.
