Georgia Rescue Helps Veteran Care for His Dog
Semper Fi Legacy Rescue in Cherokee County, GA, is helping an Air Force veteran who’s been living in his car with his dog, Bailey. Due to his living situation, he needs to find a new home for her before moving to North Carolina for a job opportunity. The rescue has provided groceries, dog food, and a hotel stay while they work to place Bailey in a loving home. Donations are being accepted to support this cause.

FDA Warns of Risks with Popular Dog Pain Drug.
The FDA has warned that Librela, a common pain medication for dogs, can cause severe side effects, including neurological symptoms and even death. With over 3,600 reported cases, the FDA is urging the manufacturer to update Librela’s label to reflect these risks. Dog Rescued from Landfill by Kind Strangers
In Atikameg, Alberta, a dog was found abandoned in a landfill by Priscella Greyeyes and her husband, who were out looking for animals in need. The pup was likely left there due to abandonment, as it appeared scared and helpless. After spotting the dog, the couple built a ramp to help it escape the deep bin. Once rescued, the pup showed its gratitude with a sweet hug, reminding us of the power of kindness and compassion for animals in need.

A Delta passenger was outraged after being moved from their first-class seat to accommodate a service dog. Despite the airline's explanation that service animals are prioritized in bulkhead rows, the passenger expressed frustration online pointing out that the canine traveler got special treatment. LA Shelter Fined $563K After Dog Attack on Employee.
The City of Los Angeles has issued a fine of $563,250 for safety violations at the Harbor Animal Shelter, after a dog attacked an employee. The Harbor Animal Shelter in San Pedro was cited for overcrowding and inadequate training, which led to the attack. The dog involved, Brie, had been struggling to adjust after being brought in as a stray. In response, the city is working to reduce overcrowding and improve shelter conditions for both animals and staff.

Passengers at San Diego International Airport facing delays found relief in an unexpected source—a group of golden retrievers. The dogs, part of the airport's "Ready, Pet, Go" program, roamed the terminals offering stress relief to travelers. The therapy dog teams, who volunteer to provide comfort, have been proven to reduce stress and induce positive emotional responses.
