How Owner Demographics Affect Dog Diet Choices.

A study from Texas A&M reveals that dog owners' age, lifestyle, and geographic location significantly impact the diets they choose for their pets. Older dog owners, for example, are more likely to feed their dogs canned or home-cooked meals. Active dogs in rural areas tend to enjoy raw or homemade diets, while sedentary dogs in urban areas often get commercial options. These findings highlight the importance of considering both dog and owner factors when evaluating canine nutrition.

His heartless former owner, Giovanny Aldama Garcia, faces charges for aggravated animal cruelty and is set to appear in court later this month

Pet obesity is a growing issue, with 60% of U.S. pets being overweight or obese. Researchers are exploring weight-loss medications, like GLP-1 drugs, which curb appetite and slow digestion. While these drugs being developed for weight loss in dogs can be intriguing to some, they may have side effects or fail to address the root cause of obesity. Focusing on natural, balanced diets and a gradual increase in physical activity is often more effective than relying on medications. Learn more here!

The attack was deemed unprovoked by the victim. Supporters, including former sheriff Alex Villanueva, rallied for Conan's clemency.
