Previously, passengers with pets were limited to one small item in addition to their pet, with larger items needing to be checked. A Florida sheriff's deputy dog narrowly avoided a 75-foot fall from a bridge thanks to the quick actions of his handler. K-9 Deputy Lauren Donaldson and her partner, K-9 "Zeppelin," were on routine patrol when Zeppelin unexpectedly leaped over the bridge's guardrail . Donaldson swiftly reacted, pulling the 75-pound Belgian Malinois back to safety. A strong bond at its finest!

Moose the Dog Found After Escape During Cargo Loading
Alaska Airlines faced an unexpected incident when Moose, a dog scheduled for a flight, didn't make it due to a "misstep in the cargo loading process." During a subsequent attempt, Moose escaped while being loaded onto another flight. The airline launched a search operation and flew Moose's owner back to aid in the search. Thankfully, Moose was found safe the following day and enjoyed a hearty breakfast before departing back home!
